Daniel Torres-Diaz

Conductor / Pianist / Pedagogue 

Mexican artist currently based in Switzerland, he performs widely across Europe and the Americas. He graduated with distinction from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and was a recipient of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship (ESKAS) in 2021.

His primary artistic focus today is orchestral conducting, while he maintains an extensive background as a soloist and chamber pianist. Since 2023, he has been teaching at the Bern Conservatory (Konservatorium Bern), and in 2025 he was appointed Principal Conductor of the OSPI (Switzerland).
