Daniel Torres-Diaz

Conductor / Pianist / Pedagogue 

Mexican artist currently based in Switzerland, he performs widely across Europe and the Americas. Graduated with distinction from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and recipient of the Swiss Government Excellence Prize (ESKAS) in 2021-2023 for his studies in piano Performance in the HKB.

His primary artistic focus today is orchestral conducting, while he maintains an extensive background as a soloist and chamber pianist. Since 2023, he has been teaching at the Bern Conservatory (Konservatorium Bern), and in 2024 he was appointed Principal Conductor of the OSPI (Switzerland).
